Sunrise Avenue werden ihre “Thank You For Everything Tour” in das Jahr 2022 verschieben. Die Entscheidung wurde aufgrund der aktuellen Lage um die weltweite Pandemie getroffen. Bereits gekaufte Tickets behalten ihre Gültigkeit für die entsprechenden neuen Termine. Die Show in der Kölner LANXESS arena wird nun am 14. Mai 2022 stattfinden. [Sunrise Avenue werden ihre „Thank You For Everything“-Abschiedstour um ein Jahr verschieben. Die Entscheidung wurde sowohl aus Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsgründen aufgrund der aktuellen Lage um die Coronavirus-Pandemie als auch auf Grundlage aktueller Beschlüsse zu Großveranstaltungen in Deutschland getroffen. In diesem Rahmen wird die ursprünglich für den 01. August 2020 geplante Show in der Kölner LANXESS arena am 06. April 2021 nachgeholt.
Für die Abschiedstour von Sunrise Avenue wurden Tickets in Rekordhöhe verkauft, Fans aus vielen verschiedenen Ländern werden bei den Konzerten erwartet. “It’s impossible now to even imagine nearly 300,000 people celebrating together. The production rehearsals alone would require the presence of dozens of people in four different countries. We wouldn’t even want to go out on our final tour wearing face masks and fearing for the health and safety of our fans. There are more important things in life right now than the culmination of Sunrise Avenue’s story, the time for which will fortunately come later. And then we will enjoy it together with our wonderful fans as if it were the last day without any extra worries,” kommentiert Lead-Sänger Samu Haber.

SUNRISE AVENUE BEENDEN NACH 17 JAHREN IHRE KARRIERE UND VERABSCHIEDEN SICH MIT SIEBEN KONZERTEN VON IHREN FANS
Die Band kommt ein letztes Mal mit der „THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING TOUR“ zu ihren Fans nach Deutschland, Österreich und in die Schweiz. Das große Finale wird im „Olympic Stadium“ in Helsinki stattfinden.
Sunrise Avenue veröffentlichten ihr Debüt-Album „On the Way to Wonderland ” 2006 und wurden zu einer der international erfolgreichsten Finnischen Rockbands.
Die Band blickt auf fünf Studioalben, sowie ein „Best of“-Album zurück und verkaufte weltweit über 2,5 Millionen Tonträger. Mit dem letzten Album „Heartbreak Century“ stieg die Band direkt auf Platz 1 der Deutschen Charts ein und erhielt Goldstatus.

I understand why it may be difficult to understand why we are ending something so special. But behind all the success are a lot of things that can’t be seen. There are many different people, all with their own needs and desires. There are millions of dotted lines along the highways, lonely hotel rooms and homes far away that we miss. There is also the feeling that we have achieved everything that was possible. Now it’s time to take a deep breath and live for the next dream. We just have to dare to follow our hearts.
